If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall 1cor 10:12 NLT

This scripture states that without God working through His Holy Spirit in us we can’t stand alone or on our own strength. This scripture ministered to me this way: If I see everything going great, walking repentant of my past sins of my life and going in the direction that God has for me. Ok Sounds good, but what happens when I separate from reading God’s Word, Praying, and spending intimate time with the Lord or loosing my humility before God the Father. Will  I be able to turn away when temptation comes around or when I place or fall in a position where its really easy to sin. I need to be in communion with the Lord. According to Jude verse 24 says Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. NLT. 1cor 10:13 Ps 119:11. I came across areas in my life where those things in our lives which are classified as “forsaking our wicked ways” according to 2 chron 7:14. Needing to understand that when I see those areas in my life that are part of the old nature or old man I need to focus on the Lord according to Heb 12:1-2 and go towards maturity according Heb 6:1 So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. NLT. There is a great importance of continually being humble before God and seeking Him to allow His Spirit to reveal how we look in the mirror of  His Word according to James 1:23-24.  Seeing a reflection that if not right before God, His Holy Spirit leading and guiding us on where the area of our lives need correction. This post needed to be brought out cause Br Damian and myself (Juan) had a discussion about people that are close to God in a relationship, and used of God, might have areas in their lives that can hinder God from expanding the ministry He entrusts us with. It’s not for us to Judge no one, but to lift people in prayer when faults are evident. At the same time it’s for us to be not totally open to things brought up, but by prayer seek the Lord in an area brought up by fellow brethren to seek counsel of the Lord. Amen
