Livebythelight Live Broadcast

I will be broadcasting live on the air at 1pm today. Listen in at http://tobtr.com/s/2814147. #BlogTalkRadio.

The message today will be about:  Knowing that our default is always running to God when needing and going thru something. His word tells us to be renewed in our thinking that will lead to transformation that pleases Him. Our ways of thinking and doing it our own ways are not in line with His word. By having our ways and thinking changed to run in line with His word causes us to not beg God any longer, but to stand on His word. His precious promises that are Yes and Amen. When I look back to the times when I begged the Lord for a change in my life or when I had gone thru a rough time that held me back for many years. Those dark years of my life ended being used for the good. In placing my eyes on the Lord and seeing Him lead me through those years. Now I rejoice for I am still looking to Jesus and knowing that what He has begun, He is perfecting it in me. Now as we come together let’s seek God’s word  and to be able to examine our ways as the Holy Spirit leads and guides us. For Heb 4:12 says For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.NLT

Are we to beg God?

We are not to come begging the Lord to do for us what He has already done for us.  For begging is our default way of coming to the Lord when we are either tired of our way of direction, an emergeny request for either ourselves or others, and wanting change in our circumstances. I have cried out many times saying Lord help me in this area or even at times just being tired of my ways of living. How awsome it is to see the word of God becoming alive to me where now I can see that I don’t need to beg but stand on God’s word in my circumstance. For now for what I hope for is now mine by faith in God’s word concerning my circumstance. Let’s do all to stand on the solid foundation of His word.

Believing God’s Word

God is not a man that He would lie according to Num 23:19. He is truth and His word is forever settled in Heaven. His promises are yes and amen. So by living that His word is truth and unshakable, we can rest in Him. Why? Well its because when His word is spoken by someone or yourself rejoice. For His word will not return void cause it will go forth and do what it was sent out to do

If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall 1cor 10:12 NLT

This scripture states that without God working through His Holy Spirit in us we can’t stand alone or on our own strength. This scripture ministered to me this way: If I see everything going great, walking repentant of my past sins of my life and going in the direction that God has for me. Ok Sounds good, but what happens when I separate from reading God’s Word, Praying, and spending intimate time with the Lord or loosing my humility before God the Father. Will  I be able to turn away when temptation comes around or when I place or fall in a position where its really easy to sin. I need to be in communion with the Lord. According to Jude verse 24 says Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. NLT. 1cor 10:13 Ps 119:11. I came across areas in my life where those things in our lives which are classified as “forsaking our wicked ways” according to 2 chron 7:14. Needing to understand that when I see those areas in my life that are part of the old nature or old man I need to focus on the Lord according to Heb 12:1-2 and go towards maturity according Heb 6:1 So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. NLT. There is a great importance of continually being humble before God and seeking Him to allow His Spirit to reveal how we look in the mirror of  His Word according to James 1:23-24.  Seeing a reflection that if not right before God, His Holy Spirit leading and guiding us on where the area of our lives need correction. This post needed to be brought out cause Br Damian and myself (Juan) had a discussion about people that are close to God in a relationship, and used of God, might have areas in their lives that can hinder God from expanding the ministry He entrusts us with. It’s not for us to Judge no one, but to lift people in prayer when faults are evident. At the same time it’s for us to be not totally open to things brought up, but by prayer seek the Lord in an area brought up by fellow brethren to seek counsel of the Lord. Amen

All things work together for the good to those who love God

To those who are called according to His purpose. Wow, awsome it is when we are called, but remember just  because we are called its not for us to run the show our way. We need to remain humble before God and seek Him for our further move. When we do this, His ministry moves forward. Its awsome to be a part of His work. Our purpose in life should be His will.

Celebrating Life

Today there was a celebration for my wife’s grandma who went to be with the Lord. She passed away Monday morning around 2:30-5:30 am. Tonight we were at the funeral home celebrating the life she had and all the people she touched. God has shown me His blessing resting upon my wife’s grandma who lived to be 96yrs old.

Thank God for His Word

1 Peter 2:21 NLT

21 For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps.

1 Peter 2:23 NLT

23 He did not retaliate when he was insulted,

nor threaten revenge when he suffered.

He left his case in the hands of God,

who always judges fairly.
